Illustration

The ability to draw – either from life or from imagination – is a skill that has come in handy on more than one occasion. For instance, the mariachi band illustration below was used for a Cinqo de Mayo party invitation. It was drawn without any visual reference; I just imagined what I wanted this to look like and sketched it.

I love drawing with charcoal, and recently experimented with oil pastels.
